AI Tooling & Governance

Designed and delivered the governed MCP Server infrastructure for one of Latin America's largest banks — from zero to production in two months, establishing the standard for how AI tools integrate into the bank's developer ecosystem.

  • From some to dozens active pilot cases
  • VS Code local execution bank-wide
  • Executive AI governance agendas
~100% Unique users

Developer Experience

Owned the API consumption journey within Stackspot EDP — migrating the internal developer portal and reaching near-complete adoption across the bank's entire engineering organisation.

  • ~100% of technology TAM
  • 100% migration by Aug 2024
  • Microfrontend architecture
1k+ Mock server requests

API Platform Strategy

Led contract testing methodology adoption bank-wide — consumer and provider flows via a custom CLI. Built and shipped a mock server solution. Championed the principle that the bank's API golden source belongs inside the bank.

  • Consumer + provider flows in production
  • Directorship validation
  • Year-long cross-team alignment
Career

The milestones
that shaped
the thinking.

  1. 2025–26
    Current

MCP Server — governed AI infrastructure at scale

Designed and delivered the bank's governed MCP Server end-to-end. From some pilot cases in December 2025 to hundreds of registered cases by March 2026. VS Code local execution enabled for the entire bank.

  2. 2022–24

Banco Itaú — engineer to product manager

Joined as Senior Software Engineer. Within a year, transitioned to Product Manager for platform and API products. Led DevPortal migration, Platform Engineering squad, and the API consumption journey at one of Latin America's largest banks.

  3. 2019
    Individual

PIX — Brazilian Central Bank working group

Participated as an individual contributor in the Brazilian Central Bank working group that defined PIX — not as a company representative, but based on personal expertise in instant payment systems.

  4. 2016–18

React specialist — Serasa, NatWest, Superbid

Delivered Serasa's Limpa Nome Online in 3 months against a 6-month plan. Contributed to NatWest's new Bankline (Royal Bank of Scotland, UK). Rebuilt Superbid's entire backoffice — Latin America's largest auction platform — from scratch in one month.

  5. 2015

    Interface that needed no instructions

Co-designed the MVP for Looplex's legal-tech contract automation platform. Four years later, founders confirmed the interface had barely changed — users adopted it with zero questions.

  6. 2013
    Pioneering

One of Brazil's first Single Page Applications

Sole developer of the Vacinas hotsite for all DASA brands (Delboni, Lavoisier). SPA built on Joomla with CSS3 animations that became a market reference. In production until 2021.

  7. 2009–12

Sole infrastructure owner — 3 offices, 0 backup

Responsible for all IT across 3 offices. XEN/Proxmox virtualisation, full telephony migration from analog to VoIP (Freeswitch), network gateway implementation. Significant server count and energy cost reduction.

  8. 2008–09
    R&D

VoIP robot + voice Twitter — ahead of the time

Controlled a Rovio robot via softphone video call. Co-developed Keea — a voice-tweet platform integrating Asterisk with Twitter. Neither shipped commercially. Both were years ahead of market interest.

  9. 2006

Linux autodidact — built what didn't exist

Network analyst who became the company's Linux specialist by self-study. Built a Nagios monitoring solution that became the delivery assurance system for Brasil Telecom — reducing installation from 5 hours to 30 minutes via shell script.

Technical roots

PM who never
stopped being
an engineer.

2006 – 2012

Infrastructure

Linux, networking, VoIP, virtualisation. Systems built from scratch — no team, no playbook, no backup. Understands what lives below the API.

2012 – 2021

Frontend Engineering

React, React Native, HTML5, CSS3, SASS. Tech lead at Superbid, Vindi, GFT, Looplex. Production interfaces used by millions.

2017 – 2021

Tech Leadership

Scrum Master, chapter lead, development coordinator. Hiring, mentoring, ceremonies. Led before it was in the title.

2022 – Present

Product Management

API Platform, AI Governance, Developer Experience. Technical depth plus product strategy.

The technical background isn't history — it's the reason I can define architecture, evaluate trade-offs, and challenge assumptions in the same meeting where I'm owning the product strategy.
